ITS Lettings is an entirely independent letting agent. We are not a franchise or a multi-branch business. We are however, a friendly, reliable and professional family run business and landlords ourselves too. We have been renting and developing property in Derby for over 30 years, in which time we have gained a wealth of experience in letting, buying and modernising property up to local and national government legislation standards.

If you are looking to expand your portfolio of properties we can also help you to buy at the right price and guide you as to roughly how much it will cost to develop the property. We have qualified tradesmen on our database whom we have used for many years including NicEic Part P registered electricians, Gas Safe and Watermark registered plumbers and gas fitters, bricklayers, plasterers, joiners, floor layers, carpet fitters and decorators.

At ITS Lettings our commitment to you is to look after your properties and your tenants as if they are our own, so it is very important to us that we find you the right tenant who will live there happily and as comfortably as possible and who will look after the property during the term of their rental period.

In our experience one of the most common complaints from landlords is that when something minor goes wrong in the property, for example, a kitchen unit door or a door handle has become loose, the agent sends a tradesman to fix it without notifying the landlord which can result in a bill of between £60 to £100 The reason being is they have the landlord’s permission to spend up to £250 without notifying him/her. To counter this complaint you can inform ITS Lettings at the start of your contract if and when you would like to be informed about such mishaps, giving you the opportunity to rectify it and save money. However if you prefer ITS Lettings to send someone, we will be more than happy to arrange this and invoice you at the end of the month. Please note that in any emergency we will send a qualified tradesman to fix the problem and then notify the landlord. At ITS Lettings you can tell us how much you want us to spend on maintenance works to your property before we notify you, or whether you want to be notified every time. The choice is yours, giving you full control over your property and finances.
As an existing landlord, you will already be aware of the legal requirements and restraints on you and you already know the constraints it can have on your time.
